I Heart The Mall!

Mall walking is so much fun that I brought hubby along with me today. We did four miles! I saw a few ladies that I recognized from Friday's walk.

And still lots of old people - some hanging around for the stores to open, and some walking. Why would you go to the mall 2 hours before it opens and just sit there? I've decided old people get up way too early in the morning and by 10:00 a.m. they are bored out of their minds!

*Note to self - don't act old when you get there, and enjoy sleeping in*

Joining Their Ranks!

Well, it's official. I became a mall walker today. I know, how pitiful! Walking with all the old people of Louisville!

All our local malls open early for the old folks to walk. I was happy to see that there were younger people walking too, and an exercise group of ladies working out.

The Oxmoor Mall is 3/4 of a mile if you walk the entire mall - going down every alcove. I went around five times which comes out to 3.75 miles. It took about an hour which is a little faster pace than when we walked the neighborhood last weekend.

Now if I only didn't have to walk by Panera and see everyone eating pastries!

Up to Something!

While the weather has been stink-o, I've been gathering and creating some fun stuff for my Trekkin' for Ta-Tas teammates. Since most of us are cat lovers/owners, we're going to have one of the three walk days for some meowin' good laughs!

I was able to get in a 3-mile trek today! The sun was out, and the temperatures were warm enough to melt off all this yucky snow!

The Sun Cometh!

Because of this mess . . . . . . not much outdoor training has been going on!

But today is a different story! The sun was out, and it was glorious!

Ted and I walked four times around our neighborhood loop which equals 3 miles. I've got 3 miles down good. Now, if I can add 57 more to it, and if I can stay away from the Girl Scout cookies that were just delivered, I'll be doing great!

Money, Money, Money!

$2,300 . . . . . . a lot of money to raise . . . . . . . such a good cause . . . . . . .

I'm excited that I've gotten $210 in donations already! In addition to the Calvin Collars that I've got in my Etsy shop, today I listed wristlet key fobs with a breast cancer memory ribbon charm.

The proceeds from the sale of these keyrings will go toward my goal! Please stop by my shop and check them out!
